  • Google Calendar ICS

Don't miss an opportunity to join us as we build upon business excellence from the 2017 Disney program! Earn your Disney Institute Leadership Excellence Certificate by attending this year’s, Disney's Approach to Leadership Excellence. This is based on a time-tested approach demonstrated by exemplary leaders. We've learned that leaders who intentionally nurture an environment of mutual trust and respect tend to drive stronger employee performance, which leads to exceptional customer service—and ultimately—improved business results.

At Disney Institute, we believe leadership is not defined by your title, but by your actions. Your values inform how you lead, creating an example for others to follow. In this course, you'll get insights into how leaders at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts create shared values and a compelling vision within a framework of effective leadership practices.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. International Women's Day (IWD) has occurred for well over a century, with the firs arch WD gathering supported by over a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. On September 7, 2018, join the women of Alloy 26 as we meet for a Halfway to International Women’s Day breakfast discussion. The purpose is to reconnect and re-band to examine the progress we’ve made in our endeavors to push for gender parity and champion all women around us.

Bio Breakfast

BioBreakfast is a weekly gathering of individuals in the Pittsburgh life sciences sector from 8-10 AM every Tuesday at the LifeX offices.

Pittsburgh’s Biomedical Sector has long been very siloed. The medical professionals and university researchers do not interact with private industry enough and vice versa. Big companies and small companies are often completely disconnected.

The BioBreakfast is an attempt to bridge the divides between the disparate groups that shape the regional biomedical sector. Most importantly, the Breakfasts try to spur informal networking so that people can build stronger networks and help identify opportunities and individuals they can work with to advance ideas.
